Rete Telematica Comune di Ariano Irpino (Telematic Network of Ariano Irpino Commune)

The project has been realised under the CST - Centro Servizi Telematici for interventions in the P.I.P area of Ariano Irpino - POP 1994/99, as support to the production system, through the recovery of functionalities and the realisation of the necessary infrastructures of telematic networks, service centres and other.

The CST intended to make available, accessible via telematic networks, a series of data and information and also to encourage an exchange between job demand and offer which allows local entities to participate in local, national and EC tenders and programmes. For this purpose the definition of the user’s needs and requirements has been particularly accurate.

The CST databanks are organised into four different sections:
- A.P.I.M.: it has been implemented to supply a complete and updated balance of reference for the SMEs of Ariano Irpino. In collecting the information on the enterprises they have taken into account not only registry data but also economic, technological and market information...
- P.in.C.O.: it contains detailed information on people searching for occupation, with the objective to shorten the distances between the job demand/offer needs.
- GARE: it contains detailed information on all sorts of public tenders, that is local, regional national or communitarian.
- B.U.R.C.: it allows to file the publications of the Official Bulletin of the Campania Region to encourage the online consultation of announcements, calls for tender and laws of local interest with a methodology which allows the users to carry out several research ways.

Besides, the databanks have been integrated with other CST activities such as: the realisation of electronic showcases, the via web promotion and the distance learning.
