MOMA’s activities deal with applied research, technological transfer, development, engineering, personalisation and trade of software solutions and products, advanced technologies and services.

MOMA S.r.l. (Modelli Matematici e Applicazioni) is a spin-off of CRMPA (Centro di Ricerca in Matematica Pura ed Applicata, a no-profit Consortium for the ICT Research, created between the University of Salerno and some of the principal World Information Groups).

MOMA is today an independent and fully expanding Company, which sees the participation of a group of SMEs, Local Public Administrations and young professional profiles.

MOMA is also an important point of reference for the Excellence Pole, heart of innovation in the ICT field, from the Base Research to the Industrial Research, developed within the Valle dell’Irno area, a national model of growth and occupation for the Southern Italy (Mezzogiorno). The Pole is characterised by the deep synergy between University world (DIIMA - University of Salerno), Industrial Research (CRMPA and Siemens Informatica) and High-Tech SMEs (Italdata).

MOMA has a team of about 15 collaborators: chief manager, project manager, researcher, project engineer, software engineer and application developer. Also other areas dedicated to the accessibility engineering and art direction have been expanding so that every product will be endowed with an easy and pleasurable-to-use service.

MOMA takes part at the European Software & Services Initiative (NESSI), the new European technological platform which aims at creating an only infrastructure for the electronic services of the continent. NESSI involves 22 members between the greater European companies of software, telecommunications and services such as BT, Hewlett Packard, IBM, Nokia, SAP e Siemens.
