MOMA is one of the principal actors in the Polo di Eccellenza sulla Conoscenza (Pole of Excellence on Knowledge), a network including the D.I.E.M. Departement of Information Engineering,  Eletric Engineering and Applied Mathematics of the University of Salerno, the Center of Research in Pure and Applied Mathematics (CRMPA), the Center for Excellence in Methods and Systems for Competitive Companies (CEMSAC) and MIA srl, a company working in Informatics, Telematics and Applied Mathematics.

Respect to the chain of knowledge innovation is charged with capitalizing on the results of research and engineering, as well as the commercialization of software solutions: 

►  innovative – based on mathematical models and systems for Knowledge Management, Learning, Competence Management, and Critical Corporate Activities and Processes. 
►  user centred – based on semantic models.
►  based on Enterprise 2.0 – to favour the need for collaboration and communication in a working environment.
►  supporting business and institutional entities – in the process of organizational  renovation, for the management of the corporate  “knowledge base” and for human resource development.
►  Favouring Employability through personalized Knowledge based learning processes.

MOMA possesses specialized and highly distinctive competenc(i)es in the fields of Mathematical Models, and Knowledge-Based Applications and for the creation of new Business and Organization Models.    The latter, united and opportunely integrated with those of the other actors of the Pole of Excellence on Knowledge, are of prime importance, differentiating MOMA from its competitors.    

MOMA is inspired on the hybrid American  “model”   where High Tech meets Research Center.  A formula to guarantee innovation and the evolution of products and services offered with respect to any competitor.
